300 g long-grain rice
5 1/4 dl water

3 tbsp neutral oil
4 pcs eggs
2 pcs chicken breasts
180 g raw peeled prawns
100 g green beans
200 g shallots
20 g garlic
2 pcs red chillies
1 pcs bird’s-eye chilli
1 pcs carrot
Balinese spice paste
1 tbsp tomato purée
1 tbsp kecap manis
1 tbsp light soy sauce
8 pcs spring onions
To Serve
1/2 pcs cucumber
2 pcs tomatoes
crispy fried onions
prawn crackers
Instructions

Preparation: Make sure you have all ingredients ready before you start cooking.

Combine rice and water in a saucepan.
300 g long-grain rice
520 ml water

Bring to a boil, stir once, cover tightly, and cook on low heat for 600 seconds.

Remove lid, fluff gently, and spread on a tray to cool completely.

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over medium heat.

Pour in beaten eggs and cook into a thin omelette.

Flip once set, cook briefly, then transfer to a board.

Slice into thin strips and set aside.

Blanch beans in salted boiling water for 120-180 seconds.

Drain and rinse briefly under cold water.

Heat remaining oil in a wok or large pan over high heat until very hot.

Stir in tomato purée and cook briefly.
